Revitalizing
Notman
House

The Trottier Family is leading a landmark green renovation of the historic Notman House and adjacent St. Margaret Hospital building. Drawing inspiration from projects like Montreal’s Maison du développement durable and Toronto’s Foundation House, this ambitious retrofit will transform the site into a sustainable, zero-emissions space for philanthropic collaboration.

This is more than a construction project — it’s a statement of values. By anchoring Notman Philanthropy House in a revitalized space, we aim to preserve an important piece of Quebec cultural heritage, protect the property from real estate speculation, and continue the building’s century-long dedication to public service.

Notman Philanthropy House is where mission-driven people and organizations come together to think bigger, act bolder, and collaborate more deeply—for the benefit of our communities and our planet.

Café OSMO x Marusan remains open to the public during renovations.
